Large restricted hemispherical basket with a flat base. Coiled construction. Black and tan "Greek key" and zigzag band at the top, on buff background. Intermontane region.

Commentary
Designs on basketry are, to some extent, limited by the medium. Curvilinear forms are not easy to execute an rectilinear patterns are more grequently found. The Greek key design, often found on Southern California baskets, has no known symbolism.
