Pipe bowl of light brown earthenware painted a creamy off white. There are traces of decoration painted in a brownish-purple. The pipe bowl is roughly T shaped, with a fat center. There is a round opening at bottom of this, and in a portion that projects away from the main part of the body. There is also a flat tab projecting from the opposite end.
Marks
"B367" written in blue graphite.
Commentary
According to the donor, this was made by children in an Indian school "of the old type".
