Pipe bowl of light brown earthenware painted a creamy off white. There are traces of decoration painted in a brownish-purple. The body is roughly L shaped, with a small round opening on the long end, and a large oval opening on the short end.
Marks
"B371" written in blue graphite in the center of the body.
Commentary
According to the donor, this was made by children in an Indian school "of the old type".
