Leather ketho or bow guard that wraps around the wrist and ties with leather thongs. A large rectangular silver medallion is affixed. The medallion has a piece of turquoise inset at center. Four straight lines radiate from center in a cross pattern that divides the medallion into quadrants; a piece of turquoise is inset at the outside end of each of these lines. Within each quadrant, two S-shaped silver lines radiate from center to the corner of the medallion. Printed paper label reads: "Dine (Navajo) artist / Navajo / Ketho or Bow Guard / Late 19th/Early 20th Century / Silver, Turquoise, Leather".
