Ivory statue of a peasant. The man wears a rumpled hat, a coat that only has the top button buttoned (with the rest held closed by his belt), a purse on his belt on his right side, and only his right shoe. His left foot has a large growth on the big toe. He holds his left shoe behind his back in his right hand. He left foot is raised. The peasant stands on a wooden stand. The stepped square base narrows to a square column, then broadens to a square capital.
