This two color lithograph was hand printed in four states on tan Rives BFK by Ed Hamilton, assisted by Tyler Ferreira, at Hamilton Press in Venice, California.

Execution: The artist drew on two mylars, using black gesso, applied with a spray gun.
The colors were printed as follows:

State I: 1. Light orange 2. Light yellow
State II: 1. Light green 2. Light tan
State III: 1. Light orange 2. Light green
State IV: 1. Light tan 2. Light brown

Size: 35.75 x 26", bleed image, torn and deckle edges.

State IV: 1 Bon a Tirer, 2 Printer's Proofs, 1 Archival Proof, 1 Shop Proof, 1 Tate Proof, 1 Achenbach Proof, 11 Artist's Proofs, 1 Presentation Proof. 33 edition.


In addition, one Separation Proof, twelve Color Trial Proofs, and three Cancellatio Proofs were signed by the artist. After all four states were printed and signed, all other proofs and impressions were destroyed. The mylars were destroyed, the plates were recycled. This print bears the chop of the printer/shop, and was published by Hamilton Press.

Marks
On recto: "Ed Ruscha 2017" signed in graphite in bottom right corner of sheet. "Printer's Proof" handwritten in graphite next to Hamilton Press chop mark in bottom left corner of sheet.
On verso: "EH689IV-17ER" handwritten in graphite in bottom right corner.
