Marks
"Emogene Lomakema / Hopi" signed in black paint on the underside.
An adhesive label adhered to the underside is handwritten in black ink, "22.50".

Attribution
A letter written on Museum of Northern Arizona letterhead by a Mrs. Fleming to John Parker is dated October 29, 1969. It reads, in part: "The Hopi bowl is being shipped today. Name of potter is Emogene Lomakema whe lives in the village of Walpi on First Mesa."
