Female figure made of silver with an ornate headdress that curves upward to each side of her head. There is a long, slender rod with a knob at the top center of the headdress. The figure raises her arms over her head. In each hand she holds a long, slender rod with a knob at the top. The figure's garment reaches down to the top of her legs and is covered with a pattern of dots in rows. At both sides of the bottom of the garment, a broad, flat band perforated with various geometric shapes curves up to the height of the figure's raised hands. Her legs are straight and pressed together. The figures's feet stick out to the side. She wears shoes that are pointed -- each with a large ball at the top. The figure stands on a three-step base with ornate engraved decoration. This whole piece is silver, and it is attached at bottom to a flat, dark wooden (walnut?) base.
On the back, a skeleton is engraved over the body of the figure. The wide, curved portion of her headdress has wings engraved on the back. One side of the broad band that curves from the bottom of the figure's garment is engraved, "PRINCESS" near the top. The opposite side of the band is engraved "FREEDOM" near the edge.
