Commentary
Sidewalk Advice: With his hand placed on a young man's shoulder, an unidentified man stops on the sidewalk outside the Federal Building in Chicago to offer some advice to youths taking part in a demonstration yesterday. Dennis Diorden of Chicago, 20 (second from right with head bowed) said he burned his draft card. He told newsmen, "I don't believe in military and selective service." Yesterday's demonstration was in support of Northwestern University student Gary E. Rader, who was appearing before a U.S. Commissioner on a charge of burning his draft card and illegal use of the Army uniform during a demonstration in New York City.
