Listens To Verdict To Bar Him From Legislature: Representative-elect Julian Bond sits dejected as he listens to the verdict to bar him from taking his seat in the Georgia House of Representatives in Atlanta. A black man, Bond was refused his seat because of his endorsement of statements denouncing U.S. Policy in Vietnam and for urging Americans to avoid the draft.
