Irregular shaped basket: lower half from base up is cylindrical, and upper half is ring-necked. Coiled construction. Black outlined diamonds on buff.

Deer grass and juncus
Commentary
Although the "net" pattern of this basket is traditional, its shape is unusual, combining the traditional globular form of the gift basket and the untraditional cylinder. In another stylistic departure, the basket maker did not employ sumac for the first few wrappings of the coils.
