A yellowed paper tag inside the basket is handwritten in blue ink, "Rankin / Feb. 8, 1961 / Pueblo [illegible word] beads & small basket".
Basket P1235 contained a swatch of brown and tan striped wool fabric and a double strand of round, brown wooden beads. On 1/14/2020, Steve Comba and Karen Hudson agreed to remove the fabric and beads from the basket and accession them. The new numbers are basket P1235.1, beads P1235.2, and fabric swatch P1235.3.
