Hemispherical and deep bowl with a flared rim. Interior divided into four triangular segments by four bands with central fret and diagonal line edging. Within each segment is a large interlocked curl. Red on Hohokam buffware. Sacaton phase. L.H. -Good example.

Commentary
Large bowls with gracefully flared rims were produced in great quantity during the Sacaton phase. The four-part division of the design field, featuring a central focal point, is typical of Hohokam painting. -from the Native American Art from the Permanent Collection catalog, 1979
