Ellipsoidal jar with strongly marked mold impression. Tall cylindrical neck with slightly flared rim. Salt red ware. Gila Series. Civano phase.
Commentary
Salt red style. The bases of vessels were often formed with molds. The impression left by a mold can then be incorporated into the design of the pot, as in this example.
