Agave, cat's claw twig, giant cactus rib, yucca, horsehair, and paint
Commentary
Both Pima and Papago women used burden baskets called kiaha, while smaller versions were made for girls. The method of construction--coiling without a foundation--resembles lace making. Similar burden carriers are depicted on Hohokam painted ceramics.
