Cardium shell pendant. Long, slender zoomorphic pendant carved from a shell that is white on one side and orange on the other. This may be a stylized bird with outstretched wings: roughly rectangular at center with a long, thin protrusion to either side. Pierced at center. It looks like a second hole was pierced near one edge, but it broke, so the hole is open. Sweetwater phase-Classic period. Conventional representation. Length ranges 2-2.8 cm.
