Jar with a flared, narrow rim, a low shoulder, and a flattened base. Diagonal lines on the rim. Horizontal buff curled bands on red. Red on buffware. Santa Cruz/Sacaton phase.

Marks
A yellowed paper stick is adhered to the underside. Handwritten in brown ink, it reads, "Red on Buff - / Gila Bend".
