Johnson Ignores Anti-war Demonstrators: President Johnson shakes hands with people who waited to see his arrival at Honolulu Airport last night. He ignores signs protesting American participation in the Vietnam War, which people display in the background. The president will meet with South Vietnamese leaders in Honolulu.
