Commentary
Clearing The Cellblocks: state police armed with rifles, automatic weapons, shotguns and teargas march through a cellblock inside Attica State Prison in New York on Thursday as they tried to regain control of the inmates. Riots broke out at 9:28 am. Note the clock below railing stopped at that time. Prison officials made unsuccessful negotiation attempt with the inmates.
