Low shouldered with wide mouth. Blue and orange geometric pattern on tan. Four small perforations on rim. Babicora polychrome.
Materials
Tan clay, tan slip, and black and red paint
Commentary
Babicora polychrome style. Cases Grandes, a large settlement that marked the southern boundary of the Mimbres culture, was an important trade outpost, transmitting the Mesoamerican intellectual and cultural developments that spread through the Southwest after the 11th century (Brody, 1977, p. 71. DiPeso, 1977, p. 34).
