Materials
This nine color lithograph was hand printed on white Rives BFK paper by Ed Hamilton at Hamilton Press in Venice, California. Additional colors were added by the artist by hand, with colored pencils diluted with water.

Execution: The artist drew a flat background on a sheet of mylar using black gesso, applied with a brush. Five other sheets of mylar were drawn with a pencil. The key image was drawn with pen and ink on a sheet of mylar. The colors were printed as follows: a blend of tan to yellow to white, yellow, red, pink, gray, blue, black.

In addition, after all nine colors were printed, the artist added more colors with wet colored pencils.
