All other proofs and impressions were destroyed, and the mylar and plates were effaced. This print bears the chop of the printer and the stamp and embossment of the artist, and was published by eyestorm.com.
This two color lithograph was hand printed on BFK Rives Creme paper by Ed Hamilton, assisted by Pat Squires at Hamilton Press in Venice, California.
Execution: The artist drew on two sheets of mylar, using black gesso applied with his fingers. These mylars were used for transfers to positive aluminum plates. The black was printed on top of the yellow. The firecracker image was rubber stamped in red.
