Ellipsoidal jar with a constricted mouth and two small loop handles near the mouth. Roosevelt black on white ware, White Mountain series. Wide black band patterned with white squares on the main body, and vertical lines on the neck. Repainted.

clay, slip and paint

A piece of cloth tape is affixed to the bottom. Handwritten in graphite, it reads, "Roosevelt."
