Flat basket plaque. Coiled construction. Irregular brown and tan sunburst design on buff.

Grass and yucca leaf
Commentary
Geometricized birds, their beaks pointing to the center, decorate this basket. Its unfinished coil indicates that the piece was made by an unmarried woman.
