Flat basket plaque with a slightly raised rim and center. Coiled construction. Loop handle. Red, blue, green, black and yellow design on buff.

Commentary
Salako one of the most important Kachina figures, is depicted on this basket, wearing a cloud headdress and a blck and white checkered cloak of eagle feathers. -from the Native American Art from the Permanent Collection catalog, 1976
