Culinary Jar, c. 300-1250
8 11/16 in. x 3 3/8 in. (22 cm x 8.5 cm)
Ceramic storage vessels were used throughout the Southwest. They offered extremely effective protection from vermin and humidity. The corrugated walls and indented neck of this jar are particularly well executed, with ten corugations per 2.5cm.
