Restricted hemispherical basket with rounded base. Twined construction. Brown zigzags on cream; this design is known as "worm stairway." Unfinished interior and rim.

Hazel, deciduous tree root, squaw grass and maidenhair fern
Commentary
The overlay material has not been cut from the interior of this basket, and the rim is also unfinished, making the process of plain two-strand twining with a half-twist overlay clearly visible.
