Basketry skirted human figure. The figure's hat is the removable rectangular cover. Black details- eyes, mouth, hair, and costume- on buff. Coiled construction.

Commentary
Basketry figures were frequently made by the Papago, but rarely by the Pima, for sale to the tourist trade. -from the Native American Art from the Permanent Collection catalog, 1979
