An original, five color lithograph, hand printed by Ed Hamilton at Hamilton Press in Venice, California. All prints were pulled on 300 gm. white Rives BFK. Execution: For the first run (the color plate) of this edition, artist Kenny Scharf drew directly on an aluminum plate, using a toner wash applied with a brush. The second plate was drawn by artist Ed Ruscha, who drew directly on an aluminum plate, using automobile lacquer applied with an airbrush. This plate was also used for State I, Untitled (EH32-90ER). Artist Kenny Scharf used copier enlargements of photographs, transferred to aluminum plates, for the third and fourth runs. Printer's Proof.
