Restricted hemispherical basket with a flat base. Made with coiled construction. Black and buff "rattlesnake" pattern coils around the basket.

Deer grass, juncus, and sumac
Commentary
Globe-shaped baskets, known as the te-vin-ze-mal, were given by the Cahuilla as gifts to friends and were also used in ceremonial rituals.
