Hemispherical bowl with a rounded base. Chaco black ware on Puerco-Chaco white ware. Elements of oblique hatching are balanced by solid white elements on the interior. Solid black rim and a white exterior. Rim has been repaired.

Grey clay, white slip, and black paint
Commentary
Chaco black-on-white style. Despite the greater freedom allowed by painting, Anasazi potters preferred to retain the linear precision of design derived from basketry and textiles.

A piece of white cloth tape is affixed to the side of the bowl. Handwritten in black ink, it reads, "Black / White / Chaco".
