A letter written on Museum of Northern Arizona letterhead by Carol to Ms. Parker is dated September 30, 1994. It reads, in part: "The photograph you sent (see enclosed) is of a Zuni pot. The bird on the pot is called a 'rain bird'. The white sticker is probably an inventory control of some sort, and the 53 may [underlined] mean the year the pot was made, or purchased (that is a wild guess)."
