Diptych. Twelve Years Later: The Defense Department released these pictures today, April 12. Jonathan Daniels, a war-time aide to President Franklin D. Roosevelt, said he censored photographs taken at the Yalta Conference a few weeks before Roosevelt’s death, because the President looked so haggard a weary.
