Photos of Latest U.S. Army and Navy War News---John D. Ryan Speeds Up Airplane Production: Mr. John D. Ryan, Director of the Bureau of Aircraft Production, addresses loggers and lumbermen in the spruce forests of the Northwest. Mr. Ryan has greatly speeded up the production of airplanes since taking charge of this important work. From logger to skilled mechanic -- every airplane worker is doing his best to increase the airplane output and win the war.
