Commentary
Rescue workers carry an aged man from the wreckage of one the houses struck by bombs, declared to be of German origin, in the first air raid on Dublin. Twenty people were injured, none seriously, as Dublin learned what air raids mean. The Eire government has lodged a protest with Germany, January 1941.
