Circular tray, slightly cylindrical with a flat base. Made with coiled construction. Decorated with black, tan, and buff diamonds and anthropomorphic figures.

juncus, deer grass and sumac

Commentary
An example of a chi-pat-mal, this basket is untraditional with respect to design, colors, shape, and technique; the first few coils are wrapped with Juncus.
