Large conical basket with a conical base. Diagonally wrapped, twined construction. Maroon diagonal zigzags and narrow stripes on brown. Overall pattern on this basket is called 'design empty in the middle arrowhead connected.'

Commentary
Diagonal pattern format is frequently used in Pomo burden baskets (fig. 20). The overall pattern on this asket, called "design empty in the middle arrowhead connected," is worked in wrapped twining. -from the Native American Art from the Permanent Collection catalog, 1976
