Rectangular basket with flat base and straight sides. Fitted, removable cover is same size as basket. Cover is decorated by bisecting black lines. Checkered construction of cedar strips.

Commentary
Kwakiutl lidded baskets are usually of checkerwork technique with plain two-strand twining at the edge of the rim and at the top corners.
