Commentary
Excitement runs high among the younger set, lined up on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. Operation Breadbasket's inaugural Black Easter Parade moves along a 22-block route. Police said the crowd may have reached 100,000. Sponsors estimated it at 200,000, Chicago, Illinois.

Marks
On verso: typewritten label with artist credit, title and date, manuscript title, date stamp and newspaper caption with date stamp affixed.

Materials
Ferrotyped prints have a sensitive surface, usually shiny and thinner, because they are put through a press while still wet. Ferrotyping makes the surface of the photograph smoother. Light does not scatter as much on a smoother surface, so this increases contrast. That makes ferrotyped images better for press photography.
