"Black Moses" Isaac Hayes is moved upon being presented the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Nobel Peace Prize Replica from the Milwaukee Chapter of Operation Breadbasket.

Isaac Lee Hayes, Jr. (1942-2008) was an American singer, songwriter, actor, and producer. He was one of the creative forces behind the Southern soul music label Stax Records, where he served both as an in-house songwriter and as a session musician and record producer, teaming with his partner David Porter during the mid-1960s.

Materials
Wire photographs were originally transmitted over phonelines, then later, by satellite. They were first used in the early 1920s. Associated Press became a leader with this. After pigment touch-ups, etc., the print is put into a drum (like a drum scanner). The image gets converted into audio tones that are transmitted. The tones are received and beamed onto photo-sensitive paper. Wire photographs are copies without originals---they are hybrid, transmitted objects.
