Commentary
The Adams prints with the "special edition" stamp on the back were printed betwen 1958-1972 by Adams' studio assistants under his supervision. (Britt Salvesen, Curator and Department Head, Photography Department, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, February 24-25, 2022)
