Soft buckskin trousers with cloth lining and brown velvet and fringe edging. Small floral quillwork designs in bright colors.

Materials
porcupine quills, leather, velvet and cloth

Commentary
Symmetrical floral designs in quillwork were used extensively by the Eastern Sioux, reflecting the influence of the Great Lakes. The tripartite organization of a variety of botanical forms is a frequent format of design.
