Flat, elongated rectangular pipe bag made of dyed yellow buckskin with long fringe. Beadwork band on the bottom. Two step-pyramids on a white background on one side and geometric vertical bands on the other. Beaded strips hang from the top. Long fringe at the bottom.

Commentary
The decorative arts of the Southern Plains, as demonstrated by this pipe bag, were distinguished by a fine fringe and a painted hide background. The bag has an unusually large amount of beading on its front and back; Southern Plains peoples originally used beadwork much more sparingly than those of the Northern Plains. Found throughout Native American sacred imagery, the bird motif beaded on the belt may derive from a personal vision of the maker or the wearer.
