Snuff bottle of emerald green stone with black striations. Roughly square body with a short, round neck and a shallow oval foot. One broad side is impressed with a Chinese character, a double "hei". The other broad side has a different impressed design. The tall, cylindrical stopper has a slightly rounded top and an attached ivory spoon. The bottle is heavy for its size.
Commentary
Round square; dark green with striations; matching dark green striated top with an ivory spoon. Medallions from and back. Low-relief carving. Obverse: unidentifiable figure/plant. Reverse: double "hei".
