Commentary
Flattened round rectangular bottle with a transverse cross section. Obverse: the back of a carved cicada with three dots (possibly made of pewter) for eyes. Reverse: carved wings of a cicada folded over its ribbed body; double loop pewter inlay at the top.

Acquired 9/9/39 from a sidewalk vendor on Wai Fuk Sai Road
