Commentary
Goya follows Moratin's text closely in showing the "behind the back" suerte attributed to the Moors. The dance like movement of the matador contrasts sharply with the brutal and graceless attacks seen in earlier prints. Goya believed that it was under the Moors that the tauromaquia was developed into an art form.
