Arthur Henderson (1863-1935) was a British iron moulder and Labor politician. He was the first Labor cabinet minister, he won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1934 and, uniquely, he served three separate terms as Leader of the Labor Party in three different decades.

Light does not scatter as much on a smoother surface, so this increases contrast. That makes ferrotyped images better for press photography.
