Artist's signature [?] in Japanese inscribed on a strip that crosses the center of the bottom underside of the basket. Box: Japanese inscription handwritten in black ink in one corner of the white paper that covers the exterior of the box lid. Japanese inscription handwritten in black ink next to a square red ink stamp in one corner of the interior of the box lid.
Wrapping fabric: Square red ink stamp in one corner of the white fabric inside the box.
