Commentary
This means double for air raiders. These twin 3-inch anti-aircraft guns are mounted on the deck of the British liner Mauretania. The ship also has a six-inch deck gun at her stern. Camouflaged, the ship slipped into New York Harbor 24 hours ahead of schedule with 698 aboard, September 1939.
