All marks are handwritten in black ink on wood on the back of the object. "J. Lowry" underlined twice in bottom right corner. "Title / 'Emily's House' [underlined] / 1/27/05 / 4th St. Studio" in upper left corner. "15" x 18" x 6" [with a box drawn around it] below inscription with title. "In this short life/ That only lasts an hr. / How much - how Little - / Within our power / c. 1873 / E. Dickinson" near center of right edge.
